Sidewalls, rear wall, slideroom endwalls, and slideroom roof are all laminated construction with rigid foam insulation. Many competitors use soft fiberglass insulation in the rear wall and sliderooms that can settle over time and leave uninsulated air gaps. Double Insulated Floor (R-30)* The heated underbelly features a layer of radiant foil insulation and the main floor adds a layer of insulation. The slideroom floors are also insulated with radiant foil. (R-24)*

The cost might be slightly higher than the majority of RV builders but as they say, "You get what you pay for." It's all in the name "Grand". I have had several RV's in my several years of camping. I recently purchased a '24 Grand Design Reflection 297RSTS, I purchased this particular RV after shopping for several weeks. I knew the floor plan that I wanted, but I was focusing on a "quality" trailer and the Grand Design offered significantly better options and materials than the other manufacturers I looked at.
